there are really some lovely views along the way. Elgar, of course who else, joined us on this trip and was very excited to discover a chestnut. He insisted on a photo together with his precious chestnut
He took it with him in the backpack and we have not heard him anymore that day. We continued our trip and enjoyed the bright autumn colors.





Like said before, the views are great as one walks in open terrain. Luckily not much wind today either. Just take your time and enjoy it all.



Slowly we return to Ubachsberg, but first this view on the "Vrouwenheide" mill, which originates back to 1858 (of course the mill has been renovated many times during the years). It now serves as a house, and unfortunately one can not bring a visit to it. But it is a nice landmark, don't you think?
Soon thereafter we crossed a small forest and see a village in front of us. The church is unmistakenly the church of Ubachsberg, the village where we started this walk. Can't be far now.
