Start is at Le Fourneau (deadend street). Here we park our car and Roxy immediately jumps out of the car. The track is signposted but as we did the track the other way around, we have never seen the signs. LOL
The track is rather muddy, despite the fact that is has not rained much lately, but as Roxy kept on going we had to keep on moving as well. She definitely knows her way around here, so that comes in handy. "Come on guys, it is this way for sure" is what she is thinking on this photo.
The track goes along a small water called "Canal de la petite eau". We came across this small bunker which in summertime must be difficult to spot. Also a fallen tree blocked our path but we managed to cross it. As you can see the path is still boggy but with good walkingshoes is should not be a problem.
Roxy checked frequently whether we were still around and if we took the correct path. Finally the path ends at a crossing and takes you to a wooden bridge.
On the way back you can see the small lake "Etang de la Motte" and will walk along the shore of lake "Etang de la Vieille Forge". And along that path there is also a prayer place, called "Roche de la Vierge".
At the end of the lake there is a nice picnic area with a lovely view towards the lake.

From here it is just a short distance to the car. Roxy enjoyed the walk very much, just as we did. As we were nearing a road we put her on a leash, but ofcourse this turned out not to be necessary as there was not one single car. We should have known by now.
Like stated before, a pleasant stroll for us and the dog.
