This time a nice walk near Logny les Aubenton with lovely views over the landscape, but because it was too hazy we could not make nice pictures of the views provided. But this track is a must if you are in the vicinity.

Good to know:
Distance: 8.8 kms
Rate: easy
Map (incl. elevation information): Near Logny les Aubenton
GPS-track available for download: yes

As always all photo's can be enlarged by clicking on them.

Somewhere in the forest we took a wrong turn as our routedescription was written in French and our French only consists out of "Bonjour", "Au Revoir" and "Oui" or "Non". But we ended up on the right track again after a few hundred metres.

So don't be afraid if suddenly our GPS-track takes a turn to the left at a small crossing and the only thing you can see ahead is an impenetrable forest. Instead of following our track, just follow the path until the next crossing and turn left there. It is that simple.

The forest is absolutely beautiful and you will be all alone.

The track passes some open fields with views to small towns, a few anxious cows, and a summer cottage with small lake.

Hope you enjoyed the photo's of our walks in this part of France. We will definitely return here.

Brilliant blog!  The pictures are amazing, I wish there was that much greenery where I’m from!  I run into a great deal of nature / hiking blogs during my typical work day, and I have to say yours is one of the best I’ve seen so far, so keep up the good work!
